Introduction
One of the world's most expensive venomous scorpions
is found in the "Deathstalker Scorpion", also known as the DeadStalker
Scorpion. Once someone is poisoned by this scorpion, it is very difficult to
save it. That is why the venom of this scorpion is the most expensive in the
world.
The most dangerous scorpion belongs to the
"Buthai D" family of scorpions, also known as the Israeli and
Palestinian scorpions. It is the most dangerous scorpion in the world, named
Leiurus quinquestriatus because of the five parts on its tail.
Body
It is yellow in color and 30 to 77 mm long. The
scorpion is commonly found in the deserts of North Africa and Central Asia.
This scorpion is popular all over the world because of its precious venom and
its one liter of venom costs about .5 10.5 million (PKR 1.1 billion). That is,
just one gallon of it is worth about Rs 5.15 billion. However, in addition to
being dangerous, the venom of this scorpion is also very useful. According to
Tel Aviv University professor Michael Graves, the poison is being used in many
medical investigations and treatments. There are some ingredients in this
poison that are being used as painkillers.

Usage
According to a 2013 report by the Fred Hutchinson
Cancer Research Center, the scorpion's venom prevents cancer cells from
forming. Scientists claim that this toxin also helps in the safe transfer of organs.
Many times the human body refuses to accept organ transplants.
In that case, the toxin would be modified and ingested
in very small amounts, after which it would act directly on the immune system
and reduce the chances of rejection of the prosthesis. In addition, it is very
useful in bone diseases. With age, the bones in the human body begin to weaken
and fail to function in the same way as the bones in a young person's body.
Therefore, by using this poison, the process of weakening the bones can be made
slower.
In 2011, a 71-year-old Cuban man claimed to have cut
himself with a death sticker scorpion. As soon as the scorpion venom entered
his body, all his pain disappeared. In order to extract the venom of these
scorpions, they are given an electric current in the laboratory due to which
the venom of scorpions gets into their sting. It is stored in a bottle.
However, this process is very complicated and only one drop of venom comes out
of the sting of one scorpion at a time. In this case, more than 1000 scorpions
are needed to extract one liter of poison.

That is why a liter of venom for these scorpions
costs around Rs 110 crore. It should be noted that this poison has a direct
effect on the brain and further research is being done on this poison keeping
in view this feature. Toxins that affect the brain and nerves are called
"neurotoxins" which are deadly as well as useful in treatment,
provided they are used with caution and in very small amounts.
